| At 07:00am on Tuesday 3 August 2010 Nominet we will have a systems outage lasting about 1 hour while deploying a software upgrade. During this time domain registrations and domain updates will be unavailable.
Any orders and domain changes placed during this update will be queued for processing when the service restarts. All other Nominet systems will continue to work as normal during this period. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause. |

| Updates to the Daily SMTP servers | |||

| In an ongoing effort to combat any Spam email sent through our servers, we will be increasing the security.
As of next week, out outgoing SMTP server (mail.daily.co.uk) can only be used for actual domain names registered with Daily. Any customers who are using mail.daily.co.uk for domain names that are not in their Daily Control Panel and are hosted with other companies (i.e. using the same SMTP and authentication details for a Daily mailbox for mailboxes hosted elsewhere) will need to instead use the SMTP details that other company provides.
